This is the first bike trainer that I've owned, so I don't have much to compare it to, but I really like it. It was a great value for the price, and simple to put together and use. It's a little louder than I expected (thus the 4 out of 5 stars) when using it with my mountain bike, but it works well. If you purchase this product, or any other bike trainer for that matter, you probably want something to hold the front tire in place and raise it up a bit. Otherwise it feels like you are slightly sloped downhill. Overall, I'm happy with it.

* Installation took 10min. Just take out the back axle and install one that is provided. The bike will then fit into the stand.
* Inexpensive. This is one of the less expensive models

* About as loud as a vacuum cleaner when mtn bike tires are installed

Just received my trainer today, used it and I love it. I was weary about low costing trainers but took a chance on this product, the frame is very solid and easy to use and adjust. One issue I had was with my bike and not the trainer. My Roadmaster Mt. Storm mountain bike did not come built with a quick release rod, after a lot quick research I finally decided to use the rod that was already equipped to my bike and hook it up to the trainer and it worked just fine. If you're looking for a good trainer then buy this one. It does make some noise but I'm not worried about it, it makes noise mainly because of the type of tire on my bike
